Getting Around
- Public Transport: The Gold Coast is served by tram (G:link light rail), bus and train connections. Fares are AU$0.50 per journey — covering multi-modal and intercity trips, including services to Brisbane approx. 80 km north. The nearest G:link stop to the venue is Marine Parade, about a 10-minute walk. See translink.com.au for journey planning.
- Ticketing: GoCard (rechargeable smart card) can be purchased from vending machines at stations, or pay contactless with Visa or Mastercard — including cards stored in a smartphone or smart watch digital wallet.
- Rideshare & Taxis: Uber, DiDi, and Ola all operate across the Gold Coast and can be hailed via their apps. Traditional taxis are available through 13CABS. A ride from Gold Coast Airport to the venue typically takes 35–45 minutes and costs approximately AU$50–70.
- From Brisbane Airport: Take the Airtrain to Roma Street or Central Station (approx. 20 min), then Queensland Rail's Beenleigh or Gold Coast line to Helensvale, connecting to the G:link tram. Total journey time is approximately 1 hr 45 min and costs AU$0.50 with GoCard (Airtrain fare applies separately — approx. AU$20). Pre-booked shuttle services are also available.
